Works with community, voluntary and statutory bodies to inform, educate (through annual conference and publications) and promote positive suicide prevention policies throughout the island of Ireland.
Trained volunteers offer confidential, practical support and advice to families who have experienced a death by suicide.
This project aims to liaise with service providers who are supporting families bereaved by suicide in Co. Mayo and explore ways in which to develop these supports in a co-ordinated way. It also aims to meet with families who are affected by a suicide death to respond to their needs.

Developed by the National Suicide Research Foundation and funded by the Health Research Board (HRB) this website provides evidence based information on bereavement following suicide and responding to people at risk of suicide. The information is tailored for people bereaved by suicide and for health professionals, including GPs and mental health professionals, as well as the general public.
